Whoops, I Did It Again: What I Wore

My bed rest unexpectedly continues. I'd been hoping to get back to work today, but I woke up with just enough discomfort that I was worried about driving thirty minutes to work (and thus thirty minutes further away from my doctor's office). Luckily my boss totally understood and even scheduled to speak with me later today about setting up a telecommuting schedule for the next few weeks!

In the meantime, I've been posting tons about our fertility adventures (or perhaps I should say misadventures) because this is the stage when things get pretty crazy. I have a small bank of outfits saved up so I decided to post two more today because it will allow me to live vicariously through myself back when I used to actually put on makeup, jewelry, and clothes.

Buds & Bunches Tee, Anthropologie
Neapolitan Cardigan, J. Crew
Tweed Pencil Skirt, Ann Taylor
Tights, Anthropologie (forgot the name)
Sofft Fiorela Pumps, Nordstrom
Clepsydra Hoops, Anthropologie
Necklace, Banana Republic

I frequently wear my Neapolitan Cardigan with my Free Flow Tank but on this particular day I opted for the Buds & Bunches Tee, which is a similar color. As much as I love my Free Flow Tank, I think I'd actually worn it once a week for about a month and the Buds & Bunches Tank hasn't gotten much love this winter.

The tights I got on super sale at Anthropologie over Christmas when they were running their extra 25% off sale promotion. They are very comfortable and have stood up to multiple wearings really well. As much as I've complained about the weather this winter, I think I'll be very sad when it's finally warm enough that I have to put my tights away.

Night Skating Top, Anthropologie
Beribboned Buds Cardi, Anthropologie
Trousers, Ann Taylor
Calvin Klein Lilian Flats, Nordstrom
Rings and Things Necklace, Anthropologie
Pandora Bracelet and Bracelet from Husband
Earrings, Kohls

I've worn this combination on top probably a dozen times, but I don't care: I love it.

Our video camera battery died but once I charge it, I'll have a few more outfits that will hopefully tide me over until this bed rest ends!

Happy Monday!

  2. Feel better and rest up, girl! Working from home for a bit will be a treat - no commute and no getting dressed when you don't want to! Just stay away from the big boogily TV!
