I'm hoping that Monday and Tuesday go by quickly this week because right now Husband and I are poor. Husband gets paid on Wednesday and then I get paid on Friday.
This happens a few times a year and it's always terribly annoying. We end up going two whole weeks without a paycheck and them BAM we get paid twice. This is fine on the 15th of the month when there aren't a lot of bills due, but on the 1st of the month we have mortgage, we have student loans, we have utilities and then all of a sudden the money is all gone and we have to wait 14 days to get any more! Boo!
So on Wednesday I'll finally be free to buy my Clarisonic brush refills and can finally pay for my parking at work and the Wish You Were Here Cardi which my sister just bought so now I've decided I must own or I'll die!
But today, I shan't be spending a dime.

Husband was leaving just as I was picking out my jewelry this morning. I asked if he could wait and take my picture and he said, "No." Boo, Husband!
A few weeks back I had a revelation that I could wear my Twist Cone Tank with my Acting Out Skirt so this morning I was eager to try out that pairing. It's a little on the dark side, but I had court so I told myself that the ensemble appeared suit-like. And fall has finally arrived so there's a bit of a chill in the air which makes me less interested in wearing bright summer colors and patterns.
The big move is finally happening this Friday and I cannot wait. Our entire office is just completely in turmoil right now and it doesn't help that one of our attorneys left last week. The administrative assistance is in the process of transferring her cases to us so every time I think my office is cleaned and ready to move, I return to discover a new pile of discovery for one of my new cases!
I hope everyone had a fun weekend! My sailing experience was not nearly as terrifying as anticipated and I may have even agreed to go out on a second voyage. As soon as Husband uploads the pictures I'll be back with a recap post!

ugh, I hate when bills and paychecks don't match up - ALL of my bills are due between the 10th and the 15th of the month, so I'm always super poor right in the middle and it sucks!

ReplyDeleteI hate bills as well and on the 15th is when I pay a lot of those as well...other than the mortgage. I get paid every other week though and the hubs get paid on the 15th and 30th so most of the time we are lucky enough to get a paycheck every week. There are a few times where we do line up and we have to go several days watching our accounts closely. And I hate that.
ReplyDeleteAshley - Yeah it always makes me feel like a bad money manager, but what can I do when my expenses are more than my income for that week? So annoying!

Cindi - We're the same way with our paychecks, but I swear it always seems to line up so we're getting paid the same week! Perhaps I should ask to get paid every other OTHER week! LOL
