I seriously had no idea that this tab existed.
So with great excitement, this morning I clicked on the "stats" tab for the first time and here's what I discovered.
1) Every week my blog is viewed about 100 times from the United Kingdom. Now, I assume that the lovely British Anthropologi(e)st is responsible for some of those views, but clearly the other views are attributable to RT and Dr. May,who incidentally, I'm convinced not only view, but discuss my blog:
Roger: Did you see what Kathleen wore to court today?
2) My second most viewed post ever is this fitting room review, which features not only my review of the famed Two-Wheeler Shirtdress, but also a link to Queen's music video for Bicycle Race. See, I knew you all really did like my Queen posts! (My most viewed post is this fitting room review which I see, to my horror, includes the Perilla Dress! Please, everyone, stop viewing this review! I beg you!)
3) Last, and most importantly, for some reason, today traffic is being directly to my blog as a result of people doing a Google search for "crazy squirrel." I can only assume that this links the searcher to this post where I've included a picture of a squirrel in clothing.
I imagine I will continue to waste hours viewing my new found "stats" tab!
Beribboned Buds Cardi, Anthropologie
Lace Trimmed Tweed Skirt, Ann Taylor
Clepsydra Hoops, Anthropologie
Bracelets, Pandora & Gift from Husband
I made a humorous discovery today as well. I realized that many bloggers include picture previews in their blog rolls. Unfortunately I have no control over what picture appears in my picture preview - blogger just uses the first picture in the post. So for the last few days, my picture preview has been:
and, last but not least:
People must think I'm insane. (I'm not disputing that I might be, but at least read my blog to come to that conclusion - don't just look at picture previews randomly generated by my blog and think that!)
So from here on out, I'm going to try to remember to post a picture of my outfit first in each post. Or at the very least a non-RT-Alex Winter comparison/button extender for snug pants/potentially crazy lady in an ebay dress first in each post.
I imagine I'll make some missteps along the way, but bear with me folks! At least I've acknowledged that I need help and that's the first step to recovery!
Together we can beat this!
