C-Lebrity: What I Wore

I'm feeling much better today. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes!

Earlier in the week, I made a rather exciting discovery that I forgot to share with everyone due to my crazy trial schedule. It was pointed out to me that performing a Google image search for Brian May can potentially yield links to my blog! Here's one link and here's another!

So imagine you are me and you are insane: what is the first thing that pops into your mind upon this revelation?

What if Dr. May Googles himself and finds me?

Or, even better, what if RT Googles Dr. May and finds me?

The possibilities are endless!

Although now there is added pressure to look adorable every single day! Who knows who might be reading! (Hi, Roger!)

Sadly, I had a late meeting this morning so Husband was long gone by the time I was ready to take my picture.

These are my one pair of "fun" shoes. Now that my closet is newly organized, I can actually see them and remember that I own them. My meeting was with a new teenage client which means I have to walk a fine line between looking professional and approachable (or cool). I thought the shoes were a good choice and my client said that I was cool. Well, she said I was nice and I responded, "I wanna be cool," and then she said I was. I joked that she probably wanted to roll her eyes at the silly old lady trying to be all hip! She laughed and said, "no,"

See, I am cool! One teenager agrees!

We just made plans to go to dinner Saturday night with some good friends from law school. And then I plan to put Husband to work prepping all the wood trim in the house for me to prime and paint. I told him that I'd paint it, but he has to sand it. Luckily he agreed!

Oh and here's a link to the song C-Lebrity off the 2008 album that Queen released with Paul Rodgers.

Happy Friday!

  1. You are way cool! That outfit is also cool. Me likes! I'm so sad I missed out on that shirt. I think I need to stalk ebay for it.

  2. The first thing that pops into my mind is that you ought to join Amazon's Associates program and post some of those links to albums/songs you mention, since music fans are finding you. A way to possibly make a little cash for yourself.

I like your outfit. That cardigan is a great color.

  3. Lorraine - Thanks! I love this skirt. My mom shortened the straps just a bit and now it fits just perfectly!

Lady Cardigan - Good idea. Unfortunately I have no idea how any of that works. I'm such blogging idiot! LOL Thanks re: the outfit!

I welcome all types of comments and feedback. However, I do ask that you be polite and respectful.

This is my blog and I reserve the right to delete comments that are personal attacks of anyone, are rude, or are otherwise inappropriate.

And honesty, if you are someone who gets your jollies from anonymously commenting on Internet blogs, you have much bigger problems than anything that you could write about me here.

If you have a problem with that, start your own blog! As Marshall Erickson would say, "Lawyered!"
