For the past few weeks, I've been getting one day ahead of myself. Meaning, on Wednesday, I think it's Thursday. On Thursday, I think it's Friday. You get the idea. So waking up this morning and realizing that it is only Thursday was a pretty major disappointment for me. I'm still not 100% over my cold and I have a potentially stressful few days ahead of me at work. Needless to say, I would really just like for it to be Tuesday afternoon when I can finally relax a bit.
Here's my outfit today.
Sweater, Charter Club Cashmere, size Medium (similiar here and super on sale)
Pants, Ann Taylor, size 12 (from a few years ago)
Boots, Bandolino, size 9.5 (similar here and use code WEARRED to get an extra 20% off)
Necklace, made by my sister-in-law
Earrings, Kohls (available here)
Looking at my picture of today's outfit, I'm realizing that it is definitely a little boring. Actually, it's a lot boring. Today is just one of those days when getting dressed was more of a chore than it was fun. If I had my druthers, I'd be sitting in my office in jeans and a sweatshirt right now, but my boss has implemented a strict no jeans policy so today's outfit is the next best thing on the comfort scale.
I think I just need to get myself back into my regular routine. I ran for the first time last night since my brush with death. It's always really tough the first time back (mostly because I need to readjust my feet to my Green Superfeet), but always feels really good too. When I don't run for a while, I do miss it. That's why I don't like to force myself to run if I'm just not feeling it. I know that eventually my body will miss it and I'll want to run. I don't want to ever resent running because that's when I'll stop doing it so regularly.
I do need to start signing up for some races this season though. I find that the absolute fear of coming in last place (or having a really bad time posted online for all to see) is a great motivator that keeps me training even when I'm feeling lazy.
Alright, alright enough introspectiveness for today!
DSW is doing double cash back on Ebates today so check it out (12% cash back on all purchases)
Use WEARRED at Macy's to get an extra 20% off (10% off jewelry) and free shipping on orders over $150. There's a ton of exclusions (too many to list here), but you might get lucky. These towels are included and are super nice. And I think I wore these shoes every day last summer!
Use L7D4K3X at Barnes and Noble to get 10% off online orders. See, I'm smart. I'm not just all about clothes!
Is it Friday yet?

Do you know about Martin & Osa? They have a great sale going on right now, too.
