Enough Already! What I Wore

Another inch of snow this morning. Not cool - I'm up here in New England getting snow one centimeter at a time while my family down South has gotten nearly 30 inches in a month! My mom is a teacher and I don't think she's had school for a week! (That may be an exaggeration, but I don't care).
Top, Forever Gardens Tee, Anthropologie, size Large (no longer available online, but on sale in stores!)
Cardigan, Ann Taylor, size Medium (from fall 2009)
Corduroys, Ann Taylor Loft, size 14 (from fall 2008)
Boots, Ann Klein, size 9 (available here and on sale!)
Earrings, QVC (available here)
Necklace, Banana Republic Broochlette Necklace (available here and on sale!)

That said, please keep in mind that the bottom half of my outfit today is purely utilitarian. I have to walk to the courthouse later today and the city where I work rarely shovels the sidewalks so I had no choice but to wear my boots. The pants are comfortable and I don't care if they get a little wet from snow because I can machine wash them.

The top half of my outfit is, of course, adorable though so I'm adding a second picture of it. The second picture also shows off my new lovely from Banana Republic - the Broochlette Necklace which I paid like $10 for, arrived yesterday, and I love. Enjoy!

In sale news, Anthropologie did a second set of markdowns this morning. Some things have been marked down for a second, or even a third, time.

Personally, I'm lusting over the Snowscape Tank which is rumored to be down to $40 (price not yet reflected online). Yes, it is a bit ridiculous. Okay, fine. It is completely ridiculous, but potentially work appropriate (as demonstrated here by Kim). And look, Roxy dressed it down here! It's so versatile! *drools*

Ann Taylor continues to be giving away the entire store. At Ann Taylor Loft, all sale items are an extra 50% off (in store only) while at Ann Taylor, use coupon code CCABIN30 for an extra 30%. Since this code applies to full priced items only, here's one that applies to sale:  108020486. You're welcome!

  1. ooh, I like the draping of the cardigan in the front. And love that necklace, how pretty! The abstract dress I was looking at is marked down to $70 or something. Bah. Still can't pull the trigger. I've liked that snowscape tank on other bloggers, and it looks very pretty under a cute cardigan. You should see if they have any in store!
