I've basically come to the conclusion that my personal style is plagarizing other people! Last night while running I saw a super cute outfit on one of the QVC models so into my closet I went hunting for similiar items. The model was wearing a brown wide belt (which I don't own), a paisley scarf and a jaunty cap (sadly the last two aren't court appropriate) but other than that, I copied the outfit down to the color.
The shirt is the exact same purple shade that I wore on Wednesday, but I don't care. I love that color. It is also the color of my beautiful new kate spade handbag. I am fashion savvy enough to know not to ever carry the bag while I'm wearing either shirt! I'm absolutely in love with this skirt. I paid full price for it (a rarity for me at Banana) because I had to have it immediately and was so terrified that it would sell out. The boots are surprisingly comfortable for the height of the heel and I've gotten a fair amount of wear out of them this year!
I wore the outfit for such a short time, that it's all back in my closet ready for another day. Now, I'm back home in my jammies, sipping tea. Boo for a cold!
